Tom,
Just thought I would back your statements made on the screed machine. Not that I am an expert but we have used the machine to pour over 4 miles of concrete sidewalks. As you stated 1/4 throttle is all that is needed for 4'-6' walks. A slump of 4 and 1/2" seems to work best, it does not pump concrete under the board. Last but not least, this is from the crew working to place the mud from the truck, they always beg to let the truck pour out 80 to 90' feet before they will let me take off with the screed, I catch them to fast, even at a controlled screed speed "smooth and steady". Again the only complaint I have had about the screed is from my chiropractor, he says the screed is cutting into his profits since I don't have to get adjusted as much. Thanks again!!

I always forget to have someone film us using the screed. Our season for the long pours is over, but I will try to remeber next spring!!
