A great new website to check out for all you decorative concrete guru’s is www.concreteideas.com The creators of the site have found a way to cut through the clutter… so to speak. High speed internet concrete fans are treated to a smooth rotation of project photo’s right off the get go. The home page is easily navigated without all kinds of advertisements.

Another thing this website gets right is the easy navigation along the top tabs. I look forward to seeing the “Find a Professional” tab grow in membership as the years pass by. Anyone can predict that in a few short years everyone will be finding their concrete contractors via the internet. Concrete companies that specialize in decorative concrete in particular are on the cutting edge of an advertising boom on the internet.

The Products & Suppliers tab leads the surfer to a variety of concrete product manufactures around the United States. A little “heads up” for the product manufacturers out there… you can sign up your company and receive a link for free! This is a great deal for tool suppliers who are tired of having to pay to advertise on competitors sites.

Professional Contractors can opt to sign up for the “Prozone”. It looks to me like a variety of tools ranging from everyday work forms to instruction video’s to business tips. Since I’m not going to plunk down the $99 – $159 per month to check it out…we’ll just have to wait and see if we can generate any posts by way of critiques and comments!

The general feel of the website is comfortable and friendly. The articles and gallery pictures are well done and informative. I think everyone from the “weekend concrete warrior” to the guys (and gals) that own two kinds of shoes… slippers and muckin boots, will want to mark it in their favorites!
